IDEEA has negotiated a block rate of $146 + taxes which is at government per diem. Please make reservations prior to February 29th to receive this rate. Kona Kai Resort has convenient access to all major freeways. The hotel is three miles from San Diego International Airport and just five miles from downtown.

Directions from Interstate 5:

From Interstate 5 freeway South-bound, exit at Rosecrans, (209). Continue straight for three miles to a left on Shelter Island Drive. Follow the road as it bends to the right. The resort occupies 11 acres at the tip of the island. Look for the large sign just past the tennis courts.

Directions from Lindbergh Field:

From Lindbergh Field, turn right on N. Harbor Drive. Follow straight to Scott St. and turn left on Scott St. Turn left on Shelter Island Drive and follow the road as it bends to the right. The resort occupies 11 acres at the tip of the island. Look for the large sign just past the tennis courts.
