Overview

This biennial forum, the fifth in a series, will feature key decision makers from the military, government and industry from both the United States and Australia. These discussions will begin a week of intensive interaction and capability showcasing at Pacific 2006.

The Conference Co-Chairs, Peter Croser, Head, Industry Division, Defence Materiel Organisation, Australia Co-Chair and Rino Pivirotto, Executive Director, Navy International Programs Office , US Co-Chair will lead a faculty of 25+ speakers from both nations.

The RAN requirements for the Air Warfare Destroyer, Amphibious Ship, submarine upgrades and interoperability with the United States Navy will be discussed. The USN will highlight its future programs and research projects and identify areas for cooperation between the two nations.
